Miley Cyrus, the Disney star, was caught smoking weed from a bong. The news broke out about it on Friday, December 10th and people haven’t stopped talking since. She claims that it was legal marijuana but that still doesn’t make it O.K. for her to smoke it. The majority of her fans are kids under the age of 18 who shouldn’t see their role model inhaling from a bong. It’s always nice to be able to do what you want but you should also keep in mind that you have people watching you all of the time. The girls I babysit watch Hannah Montana. They are seven and eight years old. Maybe they don’t watch TMZ but they do go to school where other kids might know what’s going on with one of their favorite superstars. I just don’t think it’s right to do certain things when you know who the majority of your audience is. No wonder why her Dad nicknamed her “smiley.” He was probably high too.
