Anderson Cooper Cries Reading Names Of Orlando Shooting Victims (Video)

Anderson Cooper couldn’t hold back his tears as he did the CNN special in memory of the 49 victims of the tragic mass shooting by ISIS gunman Omar Mateen in the gay nightclub Pulse in Orlando last Sunday morning.

Live near the scene of the massacre now described as the worst mass shooting in U.S. history, Cooper told the camera on Monday night, “They were more than a list of names. They were people who loved and were loved. They are people who had families, friends and dreams. And the truth is we don’t know much about some of them, but we want you to hear their names and a little bit about who they were.”

He then read names and shared some details about the 49 victims while photos flashed on screen. Just seconds in, he started to choke up but managed to complete the list and finished by saying, “We think it’s important that you hear their names.”
