Things may be looking up for Lindsay Lohan, as she reportedly posed nude for Playboy, earning a cool $1 million. Hopefully it was an enjoyable break from scrubbing toilets and cleaning sheets at the morgue. One thing’s for sure, though, this move isn’t going to help her crumbling reputation.

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber Adopt a Puppy

Despite only having dated for eight months and their relative youth, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have reportedly adopted a puppy, Baylor. I can only hope that they know what they’re getting into. As the owner of a 9 month-old puppy, I have long since decided that a puppy is to be something to be endured in order to get a dog. Dogs also benefit from stability, and from being able to spend a lot of time with their humans. I know that my puppy has severely curtailed my social life–during the week, after having spent nearly all day at work, I don’t want to go out in the evenings and leave my dog alone. Presumably, given Selena and Bieber’s plethora of assistants and handlers, this won’t be a problem, although it is something that they hopefully considered before getting the dog. Another issue for them, of course, will be quarantine regulations should they chose to take the dog with them during their frequent international travels.

Jennifer Lopez Runs off Stage Sobbing After Singing a Love Song

It’s common knowledge that listening to a love song right after a break-up is a good way to start the waterworks going, but, as Jennifer Lopez learned to her cost after she ran off stage sobbing, it’s apparently also not the best idea to sing about love, either. During her headline performance at the Mohegan Sun Arena’s 15th anniversary celebration, Ms. Lopez sang “If You Had My Love,” from her 1999 debut studio album, On the 6. The singer, who has recently split from husband Marc Anthony, broke down in tears and ran off the stage. Ah well, all’s fair in love and war, I suppose. And while I’m not the sort to sit there sympathetically when a star of starlett waxes poetic about the trials of the paparazzi, or how she/he feels so unloved, this one I can sympathize with. After all, who among us hasn’t gone through a painful breakup?

Lindsay Lohan Taken Into Custody

At her probation earlier today, Lindsay Lohan had her probation revoked and was led away in handcuffs. I’m not exactly sure what the star was expecting, particularly after she was ejected for the community service program at the Downtown Woman’s Center. Defying the court too many times tends to land you in jail. For now, the star can breath easy: she was released after posting a $100,000 bail and, at the moment, does not need to spend additional time in jail.

Selena Gomez Death Threats

Selena Gomez, by now no doubt accustomed to the more unsavory aspects of fame (she was the subject of a a death threat/harassment campaign after photographs taken of her and her boyfriend Justin Bieber while on vacation were published), the star is reported to be terrified by death threats made by Thomas Brodnicki, a man with both a criminal history and a history of mental health problems. She has taken out a restraining order against Mr. Brodnicki, one that prevents him from coming within 100 yards of either heror her family. While threats from a bunch of immature teenage fans who clearly have too much time on their hands are one thing, threats by a man with mental problems and a history of stalking is something else. Hopefully, the LAPD will be able to keep Selena Gomez safe, and Thomas Brodnicki will get the help that he so clearly needs.

Kendra Wilkinson Claims to Be Shy

Forgive me if I am suspicious of the former Playmate Kendra Wilkinson’s claims that she is actually shy, and found it weird to pose naked for various Photo Shoots. Recently, Kendra told website news.com.au, “I actually get shy, if it’s anything past the word sex, that’s when I blush. To tell you the truth, whenever I used to pose for Playboy I used to get so, so scared and I used to cover up and I’d be like “Hurry up!” I was very proud, but at the same time I never got used to being naked. I never did and I will never do it again. I don’t even know how I did it in the first place, it’s weird, I’m just a weird person, I’m a different creature.” Since leaving the Playboy Mansion, Kendra has gone on to marry NFL star Hank Baskett and has a 22-month old son named Hank IV.

Kelsey Grammer Rants At Australian Producer

Kelsey Grammer, now happily remarried, apparently really doesn’t like to be reminded about his ex, Camille. After he was questioned about Camille and her comments on Real Housewives on live air, Kelsey Grammer reportedly called produce Mark Beirne up after the show and said: “‘You are a vile person a sick dog. Your life must be tragic. I feel sorry for you.” Representatives later privately reported that Kelsey Grammer would not be invited back to the show.

What else did Kelsey Grammer expect to happen? Even he if was uncomfortable on-air, there is nothing to be gained by attacking a producer in this fashion. Mark Beirne is also not the one that put Kelsey Grammer’s private life on display–for that, he has only himself and his ex-wife to blame.

Salma Hayek, 45, Creeped Out by Botox

In a refreshing change from the standard Botox-worshipping crowd of celebrities, Salma Hayek, 45, announced that she had never had Botox during an interview with Latina magazine: “I have no Botox. The thought of a needle coming to my forehead, it really gives me the heebie-jeebies. So I’d rather put on my creams. It’s fun, it smells good, and it’s relaxing.” The star, however, did not rule out possibly using Botox in the future, depending on how well her skin ages. After all, Botox involves injecting diluted poison into the muscles of your face for cosmetic reasons–what could possibly go wrong?

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore to Divorce?

Recent allegations that Ashton Kutcher, 33, had sex with Sara Leal, 23, at the end of September have been all over the media and the blogosphere and, apparently, Demi Moore has had enough. On Friday, Ms. Moore apparently consulted a divorce attorney after last-ditch efforts--joint Kabbalah counseling sessions–to save their marriage failed.

Married in 2005, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have long turned heads in Hollywood, in no small part to their 15 year age difference. Although extreme age differences between celebrity couples is becoming more common, it is still far from the norm, and could have caused problems in their relationship. Age differences can contribute to a power imbalance in a romantic relationship or marriage, and can prevent partners from having common life experiences or shared goals.
